What can I expect at my first appointment?

When you first arrive we will ask for a driver’s license or medical card – this is strictly to verify that we have spelled all of your personal information accurately. You will be asked to fill out three short forms – a brief health questionnaire, a “how you heard about us” form, and a form granting us permission to store your personal information (due to privacy legislation in Manitoba). We will ask for any additional information such as insurance coverage, phone numbers, and how long you have had your current dentures (if any). Then you will be called by one of our denturists, who will sit down with you to discuss your needs. They will do a brief (non-invasive) examination of your mouth, and then go over the various options that are available to you. At this time you can ask any questions you may have, and go over costs and timelines. If you have a photograph of the smile you would like, this is a good time to bring it along! If you decide you’d like to start treatment right away, we can begin it at this appointment as well.
